Trans Continental Companies
The success of Lou Pearlman
with the Trans Continental Companies is a textbook example of how hard work, when combined
with a strong vision, can pay off in a big way. Here is some general information on the
various Trans Continental Companies and their subsidiaries:
The Trans Continental Company was founded in 1975 by Chairman and President Louis J.
Pearlman, who began operations with a small helicopter charter service and branched into
full service lease/charters of large aircraft for commercial use. The air service
operations continued to expand and now include a travel service that provides a wide array
of services to individual and corporate clients.
In the early 1990s, Trans Con started an entertainment related branch that includes the
Trans Continental Records company, a music publishing company, a production company, and a
state of the art recording studio. After discovering the Backstreet Boys, and developing the
group into a worldwide music sensation, these operations quickly established a reputation
for excellence with follow up acts *NSYNC, LFO, C-Note, O-Town and Natural, among others.
Currently, the Trans Continental Records roster boasts such artists as b4-4, Brooke
Hogan, Sean van der Wilt, Smilez & Southstar, KC (of KC and The Sunshine Band), Nelson,
and, of course, Natural.
